Why Change Transmission Fluid?

About our history…
Austrin Engineering was founded in 1971 by Percy Austrin. Originally to carry out routine servicing and repairs, in the process became specialists in Automatic Transmissions. Sadly in August 2012 Percy passed away, leading to the renaming of the business as Austrin Gearbox Specialist Ltd (AGS). We have the same staff plus new additions as the business grows by the day. With Automatics now being electronically controlled, the Diagnostic side has become a major part in the business. We continue to update and invest in our diagnostic equipment and knowledge by attending annual seminars and training courses to keep us up to speed with the modern transmissions so we can continue to be the best workshop to turn to for Automatic Transmission repairs in the North East of England, just as Percy would have wanted.
