Aero Flip 3d Windows 10

You can’t! Most Aero features have been removed from Windows 8 and that (sadly) includes Flip 3D. There was talk of this feature being tied to the Windows theme you were using, but I have tried several that used to include Aero Glass frames and none work (even though it did work on the beta’s).

Note that there is an ugly work around to get Glass to function in a minimal way but after running it for 2 minutes I reverted so I would not waste your time with it.

On the slightest of bright notes Aero Snap still works and you CAN re-enable Aero Peek (see screen shot below)

… and one more thing which you might have guessed already; the word AERO has been removed from all things 8 (so we now have SNAP and PEEK

If you're an avid computer user, you most likely use the Alt+Tab window switcher hotkey on a regular basis. That's why you may find WinFlip quite a great application, because it comes as an innovative replacement for this standard system shortcut.

Flip

Chances are that you have already heard about the 'Flip 3D' effect that could display all the active windows in a 3D stack.

Well, that's exactly what WinFlip is able to do with your windows too, showing all open applications in a stack that can be controlled either by mouse or by keyboard.

It takes just a couple of minutes to get used to the application and you'll most likely find it quite nice, especially when thinking that it's not only eye candy, but it can also boost productivity.

If you wish to control the quick flip via keyboard, you can either overwrite the Windows settings and use the Alt+Tab keyboard combination or just set up the application work with the Windows key + Tab shortcut.

On the other hand, if you go for the mouse, WinFlip even supports mouse gestures, so all you have to do is to draw a circle with the mouse on the screen to enable the 3D effect.

Plus, you can configure it to work with a single click on the edge of desktop, be it on the left, right, top or bottom.

Last but not least, you can choose to use the middle mouse button to flip windows, which in most cases is the easiest way to take advantage of this great app.

Because it could affect performance a little bit, WinFlip also comprises a few options in this regard. It can drop frames when slow, but you can also reduce texture quality and disable anti-aliasing to improve computer performance.

All in all, WinFlip is one of the best apps in its particular software category, and the fact that it works on both older and newer versions of Windows makes it a must try for all users out there.
